Shyness and social phobia

One more natural state is feeling shy. When people are shy, they can avoid the very ordinary actions like speaking in front of many strange people, social activity, answering the lessons and so on. Shyness is the characteristic of nervous system which could be affected by the social influence or family upbringing. You can easily distinguish such teens in a group. For the first time they keep silence and listen, but in some time they are able to take part in the communication. Simply such people need more time to warm up. Unfortunately, sometimes people who are inclined to be shy feel uncomfortable to speak in frond of many people and try to reduce their public speeches. The reasons are different. People, especially the teens, could be afraid to be mistaken, criticized, teased or blamed. It could root out their desire to lead a social life for a long time. The good news is that it is possible to overcome by constant control. For example, you feel sudden anxiety break. Try to take the things easy and do something you try to avoid. It could be hard for the first time; but for the second, third, fourth time you will be able to do what you want.
Likely, there is a wonderful talent of the shy people. They are usually very good listeners. Thanks to some psychological factors, they are sensitive and thoughtful towards other people's troubles and problems.
The worse news is that extreme shyness could develop into social phobia which is characterized with total refusal to be socialized. As a matter of fact, there is nothing awful in that as well. It means that you just need professional help, sincere conversation and attention of those people you respect and trust.
